A story about Jennifer Lopez planning to track Alex Rodriguez when he tags along on her concert tour is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. It's simply fabricated.
According to the National Enquirer, the singer is worried her fiance won't be able to resist other women while they're on the road for her It's My Party tour, so she's taking steps to keep him in line. "Jennifer has a detailed calendar with Alex's every move mapped out - precisely where he's got to be and when," a supposed source tells the magazine.
The alleged insider further contends that Lopez "insisted Alex has a security team" consisting of "four guys who watch over him 24/7, but they're not professionals." Instead, says the suspicious tipster, they've been hired to ensure he doesn't cheat. Nothing about this narrative is remotely true, but RadarOnline also picked it up without bothering to fact-check.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Lopez, who wasn't able to speak on the record, but assures us the tabloid's report is total nonsense. The singer isn't monitoring Rodriguez's every move during her tour, nor are their any trust issues between them. Unfortunately, the Enquirer has been trying for quite some team to create nonexistent problems between the couple.
Back in April, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for falsely claiming Lopez was having second thoughts about marrying Rodriguez. That story came on the heels of unsubstantiated cheating allegations made against him by Playboy model Zoe Gregory, who told a British tabloid that the former baseball star propositioned her over text. Gregory had zero proof to back up her claims, and we were assured Lopez was paying zero attention to them.
Shortly before that, we called out the publication for wrongly reporting that Lopez was "dumping" Rodriguez over the unfounded cheating allegations against him. And prior to that, the unreliable outlet made up a story about Lopez's friends wanting her to dump Rodriguez. The tabloid's ongoing saga surrounding the couple's romance is a work of fiction.
In reality, the happily engaged couple frequently flaunt their loving relationship on social media. Lopez and Rodriguez also constantly praise each other in interviews. There's simply no drama between them, despite the Enquirer's repeated attempts at creating tension. The idea that the singer is prepared to marry a man whom she doesn't trust simply isn't logical. There will be no one spying on Rodriguez during his fiancee's tour, nor does he have an itinerary designed to keep him from straying.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
