Jennifer Lopez is NOT “adopting,” despite a report from one of the tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.

Wednesday’s new edition of Life & Style states, “At age 46, Jennifer Lopez has come to a decision: She’s not interested in getting pregnant again. But boyfriend Casper Smart still wants to be a dad.” And so, a “J.Lo insider” is quoted as saying, “Casper recently proposed adopting a baby instead, and knowing how great he is with kids, Jennifer’s come around to the idea.”

The article goes on to claim that “J.Lo recently told Casper she doesn’t think she wants to get married for a fourth time.” And while he’s “okay with that,” the choreographer “still wants to make it feel like they’re a family.” Smart was supposedly “inspired to suggest adoption after seeing how good Jennifer was with children other than her own.”

“He saw her with orphans in Puerto Rico on humanitarian visits, and he realized there are so many children in the world that need homes,” claims the alleged source. “She loves kids and could really make a difference in an orphan’s life.” It’s further said that Lopez’s twins “provided” an “extra arm twist” to get their mom on board, as they’re “always asking for siblings.”

It’s a heartwarming story, but it isn’t a true one. Gossip Cop can even point out one big red flag: Life & Style says in the piece that Lopez doesn’t want to marry again. But the tabloid claimed less than a month ago that she and Smart were planning a star-studded Hamptons wedding for this summer.

Of course, that’s not mentioned now, but the inconsistency is proof of how the magazine crafts tall tale after tall tale. Lopez and Smart were not planning a wedding, as Gossip Cop previously busted, and they aren’t planning to adopt, either. A source close to the superstar exclusively tells Gossip Cop that these claims are “insane.”
