Jennifer Hudson led a star-studded finale performance of “Come Together” for Friday’s “XQ Super School Live,” also featuring U2, Ringo Starr, Sheryl Crow and more artists. Watch the video below!

As Gossip Cop reported, “XQ Super School Live” was put together by the XQ Institute, which works to improve education, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, which uses stars to raise awareness about important issues. And many would argue there’s no more important issue than education and educating the future leaders of tomorrow. With Viola Davis producing, stars like Justin Timberlake, Tom Hanks and Salma Hayek made live or taped appearances to discuss schooling and ways to reinvent high school to make young adults better prepared for the ever-changing world that awaits them.

Amid all the noteworthy information, there was also a number of musical performances. Kelly Clarkson sang “Move You,” which she dedicated to the people of Houston. Andra Day sang her inspirational hit “Rise Up,” and Hunter Hayes treated the audience to a snippet of “Rescue.” But the finale was a real treat for viewers. In addition to Hudson, U2 and Ringo Starr, MC Hammer, Sheila E. and Yo-Yo Ma also participated in the performance. They were further joined by Max Weinberg, Reggie Watts, Jax, D’Wayne Wiggins, Silk Road Ensemble and Jon Boogz.

Prior to the start of the number, Hanks said, “Tonight, let’s take one small step to reshape our education system in America, because when we’re good, we’re great.” Added Davis, “The fact that I’m standing her tonight is a testament to education… We’re in this together, and we’re gonna do this together.” U2 then kicked off “Come Together,” with Starr and Crow seamlessly appearing via video. Hudson picked up the song live, with Shelia E. on the drums. Appropriately, there was also a high school marching band. Watch the full video below! NOTE: The video is no longer available.
