Jennifer Garner was spotted with a big smile on her face at LAX on Thursday, but it’s NOT because she’s back together with estranged husband Ben Affleck, despite a bogus webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “ridiculous.”

RadarOnline posted paparazzi photos of the actress looking very happy while making her way through the airport, noting that the actress had a “huge grin” on her face. Naturally, the website used the innocuous pictures to concoct a phony narrative about Garner and Affleck supposedly having reconciled. But in reality, the good-natured actress was simply in a cheerful mood, and the couple hasn’t called off their divorce.

Despite how baseless the site’s claim appears to be, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the actress, who exclusively tells us that the story is “ridiculous.” Garner smiling is in no way a representation that she’s called off her divorce.

In fact, RadarOnline is just piggybacking off its inaccurate story that Gossip Cop already busted. On Thursday, the webloid purported that the actress’s father, Bill Garner, divulged that his daughter and Affleck were back together, but he said no such thing.

When asked about the divorce, Garner’s dad simply replied, “I would prefer not to comment on her plans. Any news will come from her and not from us.” But that didn’t stop the site from going with the absurdly misleading headline: “Jen & Ben Back On For Good! Her Dad Reveals How She Won Him Back.” Garner and Affleck are staying on good terms for the sake of co-parenting their children, but they aren’t “back on,” despite RadarOnline’s insistence on pushing that lie.
