Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend John Miller have no plans to get married, despite countless tabloid reports claiming otherwise. Gossip Cop has debunked many different takes on the subject. Here are five wrong rumors.
Just last week, Gossip Cop busted In Touch for wrongly reporting Garner and Miller had set a wedding date for the end of the summer. The outlet didn’t bother to mention where the couple planned to tie the knot. The magazine also had trouble sticking to its phony premise, at one point saying the wedding “could be pushed to early fall.” An individual in Garner’s camp assured us she hasn’t discussed marriage with her boyfriend, and they most certainly haven’t set a wedding date.
Last month, Gossip Cop called out Star for falsely claiming Garner was planning a wedding and also pregnant wth Miller’s baby. According to the tabloid, the actress was showing “the beginnings of a baby bump” while shopping in Los Angeles. A supposed source told the publication, “They’ve been keeping it hush-hush, but it seems John’s already asked Jen for her hand in marriage.”
Neither aspect of the story was remotely true. Less than a month before the article emerged, “Entertainment Tonight” reported how Garner was still exploring “if John is the right one for her.” The actress and the businessman are still together, but the idea that they’re planning for marriage and children simply isn’t true.
In May, Gossip Cop debunked a Life & Style article that asserted Garner and Miller were planning a summer wedding at her home in Los Angeles. The outlet contended that the couple would be exchanging vows in an outdoor ceremony at her Pacific Palisades home. From there, the magazine peddled fictitious details about what the actress would wear and who would be on the guest list, with famous pals like Reese Witherspoon and Kate Hudson scoring invites. A Garner confidante, however, assured us there would be no wedding at her home this summer. The storyline was a work of fiction.
Back in March, Gossip Cop busted OK! for making up a story about Garner being pregnant and planning to get married to Miller. The tabloid maintained the actress was expecting a baby girl while also organizing a wedding ceremony that would be a “low-key family affair with just a few close friends.” A source close to Garner, however, assured us the article was nonsense. In addition to not expecting a baby, “Entertainment Tonight” similarly reported that “neither of them are ready to plan a wedding or get engaged.”
Shortly before that, Gossip Cop called out the Globe for wrongly reporting Garner and Miller had gotten engaged. The publication claimed the Cali Group CEO had proposed to the actress over breakfast. The outlet, however, didn’t bother to explain exactly where and when it happened.
The magazine also claimed Ben Affleck was “shattered” over the supposed engagement, but Miller simply never proposed to Garner. Just one day after the article was published, the actress was photographed running errands in Santa Monica without a ring on her left hand. Regardless of the missing jewelry, a trusted source close to Garner also confirmed she wasn’t headed down the aisle.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
