Jennifer Garner never had a baby with John Miller, despite a tabloid falsely claiming she was pregnant nine months ago. Gossip Cop busted the publication for its unreliable reporting at the time. It's now unequivocally clear we were correct to do so.
In January, Woman's Day ran an article alleging Garner was pregnant with Miller's child. The magazine quoted a "source close to" Garner as saying, "Jen was shocked when she found out she was expecting baby number four and said she took seven tests as she couldn't believe it." More likely, the actress couldn't believe the story was written because nothing about it was true.
Gossip Cop debunked the report by providing multiple examples of photos of the actress looking decidedly not pregnant. We also checked with Garner's spokesperson, who told us on the record that the claim was false. We even provided a statement by the actress herself saying she was done having kids. The tabloid's "insider" was definitely not in the know. Nine months later, it's clear the whole story was fabricated.
Woman's Day doesn't care about consistency in their dubious "reporting" when it comes to the Alias star. Just three months after saying she was pregnant with Miller's baby, the publication ran another tall tale, this time asserting Garner was back together with Ben Affleck. This was despite the actress being in a relationship with Miller, the man who was supposed to be the father of her fourth child, according to the same tabloid.
If that wasn't enough, three months after that false report, Woman's Day ran a story about Garner and Bradley Cooper being more than friends. This time, an unnamed insider told the magazine, "No one would be surprised if they're finally taking their friendship to the next level." It was completely ridiculous. Garner should have been at least 6 months pregnant with her child with Miller at this point, but instead, the outlet wanted readers to believe she was "sneaking around" with Cooper. Once again, Gossip Cop called the tabloid out for its phony story.
Almost unbelievably, less than two months later, around the time Garner should have been close to her supposed due date, Woman's Day claimed Garner was back to together with Affleck and - get this - having his baby! It seems this was either a medical miracle or complete nonsense. It was the latter - just more bad reporting from a tabloid that doesn't even pay attention to the stories it makes up.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
