Jennifer Garner is not "crushing" on Yes Day co-star Edgar Ramirez, despite a phony tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story. It's completely made up.
According to Woman's Day, Garner and Ramirez have been getting "flirty" while filming the upcoming Netflix movie Yes Day, in which a group of parents spend the day saying "yes" to all of their children's requests. An alleged insider tells the magazine that the entire cast and crew are hoping for "a blossoming romance between the two."
The supposed source adds, "Jennifer deserves happiness. Especially with someone as handsome as Edgar, who is a great guy." The questionable tipster continues, "Everyone noticed how they spend a lot of time together between cuts, and she often hangs out in his trailer. Anyone who knows them both are supportive of this developing into something more."
At no point does the magazine mention that Garner has been dating businessman John Miller for more than a year. The omission is quite odd, considering the magazine claimed a year ago that Garner was pregnant with her boyfriend's baby. Gossip Cop debunked that bogus story when it was first published, but we're not sure why the outlet is now pretending as if Miller doesn't exist.
Here's another thing Woman's Day doesn't mention: Last June, the outlet claimed Keith Urban was upset about Nicole Kidman getting too close to Ramirez on the set of their HBO series The Undoing. That storyline was also complete nonsense. It seems the publication enjoys linking the actor to his female co-stars just because he appears to be single.
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who assures us this latest story is more fiction. Garner and Ramirez aren't getting "flirty" on the set of their movie. The co-stars have a good working relationship, but there's nothing more to it than that.
Less than three months ago, Gossip Cop called out Woman's Day for falsely claiming Garner was pregnant with Ben Affleck's baby. The ex-spouses aren't back together, let alone expecting another child. Naturally, that phony scenario is yet another thing that's never brought up in this latest report.
Back in September, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for making up a story about Garner and Affleck getting married again in Hawaii. That didn't happen. The tabloid has moved on from linking the actress to her ex-husband, but now it's randomly linking her to a male co-star instead. The magazine simply knows nothing about the actress's personal life.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
