Jennifer Garner does not retreat to an “Oklahoma hideaway home” to escape Ben Affleck, despite a bogus report. The premise is completely inaccurate. Gossip Cop can debunk it.

Last year, the actress purchased the farm where her mother grew up in Locust Grove, Oklahoma. Garner uses the property to grow fruits and vegetables for her company Once Upon a Farm, which makes organic food for kids. RadarOnline is completely skewing the situation by claiming the actress only visits Oklahoma to “escape the torment of her breakup.”

The unreliable blog further contends that Garner has been “licking her wounds” in the midwest as she deals with her divorce from Affleck and has even “created a second home in the small town.” This simply isn’t the case. The website’s speculative story, which doesn’t have a single source to back it up, is a total misrepresentation of circumstances. Garner’s rep, who’s qualified to speak on her behalf, tells Gossip Cop that the actress “does not live” on the farm. We’re further told, “Some of her family still lives there and they are harvesting for the brand Once Upon A Farm.”

This past July, Garner gave a tour of her farm to CBS News, along with her mom and uncle, explaining that she purchased the property because her family “has a connection to the land” and she wanted her business “to be connected to my family.” The news piece made note that Garner also has a “backyard garden at her Los Angeles home,” which is where she resides full-time.

When Garner appeared on “Good Morning America” that same month, the actress noted, “It’s so fun to connect anything you do back to your family. And if I had known my mom would be this happy about us using her family farm, I would have done it a long time ago.” Simply put, Garner uses her Oklahoma farm to grow food for her business and to visit her family. The actress also has a personal connection to the farm. However, Garner doesn’t live there and she certainly doesn’t use it as a “hideaway” from Affleck.

Of course, it’s not shocking that RadarOnline created a phony account of the situation. Gossip Cop busted the blog last December for falsely claiming that Affleck dumped Lindsay Shookus to reunite with Garner. The actor and his ex-girlfriend remained together until breaking up this past July, and he isn’t back together with his estranged wife.
