Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are not buying a vineyard, despite a wholly fabricated report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this absurd claim. We’re told the story is “completely false.”

According to the repeatedly debunked OK!, Aniston and Theroux plan on making their own wine. A seemingly fabricated “insider” tells the tabloid, the two stars “‘have their hearts set’ on purchasing a boutique vineyard in Santa Barbara.” The specious “insider” notes, “They have an impressive cellar in their Bel Air home,” and adds, “They’ve taken sommelier courses together and have become real experts.”

The magazine’s same questionable source further alleges that Theroux and Aniston “want to turn their hobby into an investment” by opening their own winery. Of course, that untrue premise affords the tabloid the opportunity to inject Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie into its manufactured story by pointing out how the latter couple already has its own “successful Miraval winery.” Having her own vineyard is “something Jen’s genuinely dreamed of for years,” says the publication’s not-so-genuine source, who continues, “She’s obsessed with wine.”

Unfortunately for OK!, Gossip Cop Cop is obsessed with accurate reporting. And the tabloid’s latest tale is all wet. Aniston and Theroux aren’t going into the winemaking business, her rep exclusively confirms to us. Gossip Cop is told the magazine’s claims are “completely false.” Aniston’s rep also has “no idea” how the publication came up with its most recent falsehood.

We also have no clue as to how the tabloid conjured up such an inaccurate story; however, Gossip Cop is not surprised. We have busted a mind boggling number of stories from the magazine about Aniston and Theroux. Gossip Cop recently exposed the outlet for publishing a wholly untrue cover story about Aniston adopting two little girls. We’ve also shot down wrong reports about her being pregnant, designing a clothing line, and having a “crush” on Jon Hamm. There have also been other concocted articles about Aniston feuding with Julia Roberts, spending $30,000 a month on Botox, and being cast as Jon Voight’s daughter (over Jolie) in an upcoming movie.

There are often two common threads to the outlet’s stories about Aniston. One, the articles are entirely wrong, and two, Gossip Cop believe the claims have been fully made-up. If you think Aniston and Theroux are buying a vineyard to produce their own wine, chances are you’ve been drinking.
