Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are NOT in counseling, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust this story. It’s simply not true.

According to OK!, the newlyweds “began counseling before tying the knot.” A so-called “source” tells the tabloid the actress was reluctant to do it, but Theroux insisted they go before their August 5 wedding because Aniston allegedly “still has baggage from past relationships and her childhood.” The magazine’s ill-informed insider adds that it worked because “they learned so much about each other before the big day.”

Wouldn’t it be great if the tabloid learned about fact-checking. Aniston and Theroux did not go to therapy before getting married. Both their reps say the pre-wedding claim is 100 percent not true.

Of course, Gossip Cop is not remotely surprised that OK! was wrong. The tabloid has a poor track record when it comes to reporting about Aniston and Theroux. In fact, the magazine seems to know nothing about their married life. Gossip Cop busted OK! when it claimed to have all the “details” from their wedding back in 2013. We then corrected the tabloid when it reported they were “finally married” in 2014 and again in January 2015.

Gossip Cop similarly schooled the magazine for all its wrong reports about them having split up. And who can ever forget when the tabloid exclaimed on a December 2013 cover with Aniston, “I’ll Raise This Baby Alone!” We didn’t. Once again, the reporting at OK! is not remotely OK.
