Jennifer Aniston is not writing a tell-all book, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the false report. We're the claim is fiction.
The alleged "$11 million tell-all" is announced on the cover of Star, which teases, "Secrets, Lies & Cheating!" Inside the issue, the gossip magazine writes, "The perky rom-com beauty is now in the process of penning a tell-all of her tumultuous life, and the revelations could be so juicy that industry insiders are predicting the book could fetch as much as $11 million!" What revelations might those be?
The publication actually has no idea, which it why it says "the guessing game is on about exactly what secrets Jen would finally reveal to her millions of fans." A purported "insider" is quoted as saying, "Over the years Jen has been the subject of so much wild speculation and so many rampant rumors that she may be feeling it's time to unburden herself, and set the record straight once and for all." That's a rather rich comment considering Star has been responsible for much of that speculation and so many of those rumors.
In fact, from there, the publication goes on to speculate about the topics Aniston could cover, such as her divorce from Brad Pitt and what really went down with Angelina Jolie more than a decade ago. In a rather meaningless quote, the tabloid's supposed source says, "That would be an intense beginning, to start with the moment Brad confessed to Jen he had fallen in love with Angelina." The story goes on to say Aniston could "come clean about any rough patches" with Justin Theroux, dish on exes like Vince Vaughn and John Mayer, and reveal "Friends" secrets.
The tabloid specifically points to rumors about Aniston and Matt LeBlanc, which Gossip Cop debunked in 2015, and further suggests she may write about not becoming a mother. "It would become a bestseller in the blink of an eye," asserts the outlet's alleged snitch. It probably would. But it's not happening in any way, shape, or form.
Not only are these all empty theories about what such a memoir could possibly contain, but it's not even true that Aniston is working on one. A rep for the actress confirms she is not writing a tell-all book. The spokesperson exclusively tells Gossip Cop, "Jen has never wanted to write a memoir, and we have continuously made that clear every time gossip magazines have fabricated this story."
But it's hardly surprising Star seemingly fabricated this cover story. It was barely two months ago that Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for a cover story falsely announcing Aniston was pregnant. It's telling that that's not mentioned anywhere in this new edition. The gossip magazine's lack of credibility here is quite clear.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
