Jennifer Aniston split Justin Theroux Married

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got married on Wednesday night; however, throughout their four-year relationship there have been numerous false tabloid reports alleging they had split up, which Gossip Cop exclusively corrected. Below are just a few of the bogus breakup stories and magazine covers that Gossip Cop busted.

In July 2014, Gossip Cop debunked a claim by Life & Style that Theroux had dumped Aniston hours before their supposed wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In August of that year, we corrected the tabloid when it wrongly alleged that Aniston caught Theroux cheating with his “Leftovers” co-star Liv Tyler. In March 2015, the same magazine falsely reported that Aniston was a “runaway bride.” And this past May, Life & Style fabricated a story about Theroux dumping Aniston days before their scheduled wedding. As Gossip Cop reported back then, and with the passage of time, not a single one of these stories turned out to be true.

OK! purported in June 2014 that Aniston’s friends, such as Courteney Cox, Ellen DeGeneres and Chelsea Handler, did not like Theroux and were urging her to dump him. Of course, those same friends, who supposedly rallied for Aniston to leave Theroux, were all guests at the couple’s secret wedding on Wednesday, as Gossip Cop previously noted.

In February 2014, In Touch made up a story that Gossip Cop busted, claiming Theroux ditched Aniston on her 45th birthday and that couple was “headed for a permanent split.” In October of that same year, the tabloid fabricated yet another tale about Theroux dumping Aniston hours before a supposed beachside wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In August 2012, Star exclaimed “It’s Over!” and alleged Theroux was caught by Aniston with another blonde. That wasn’t true nor was the February 2014 cover story that Gossip Cop corrected when the tabloid manufactured a report that claimed the actress was “dumped” by Theroux after an “ugly screaming match.”

Gossip Cop exclusively busted every single one of the aforementioned stories, in addition to many more similar breakup tales that the tabloids tried to push ever since Aniston and Theroux began dating in 2011. While Gossip Cop is happy for the newlyweds, sadly we know we’ll soon be busy busting the tabloids for cooking up fake “verge of divorce” stories.
