A new tabloid cover story promising to expose Jennifer Aniston's "darkest secrets" is entirely made-up. The bogus report claims the actress has body image issues, almost left Justin Theroux at the altar, and is still hung up on Brad Pitt, among other things. Gossip Cop, however, can exclusively set the record straight.
A so-called "source" tells OK!, "As Jen gets older, she can't help but reflect on the past. She's become fixated on things like her appearance and past relationships. It really isn't healthy." First, the magazine alleges the actress is terrified of gaining weight as she gets older, quoting a supposed insider as saying, "Jen needs to stop weighing herself five times a day and just calm down."
The untrustworthy outlet goes on to contend Aniston is also insecure in her marriage to Theroux. An alleged source says, "Jen has serious trust issues and it doesn't help that they're spending more and more time apart these days," noting, "Jen prefers L.A., but Justin loves New York... It makes it difficult for her to feel confident in their relationship." The publication further claims Aniston often worries her husband will leave her because she's still traumatized by Pitt dumping her for Angelina Jolie more than a decade ago. The "insider" adds that in 2015, Aniston "almost left Justin at the altar" over her purported trust issues stemming from her first marriage.
And finally, the seemingly phony source insists Aniston "is stuck on the past" and constantly ruminates about her relationship with Pitt. "She's confided in friends that she often wonders what might have happened if they'd had children, whether they would still be together," says the "insider," who further maintains the actress still has the engagement ring Pitt bought her. "She hides it in a drawer filled with old T-shirts and takes it out once a year to reminisce on their happier times."
This all sounds very dramatic, but it also sounds very unlikely. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Aniston, who exclusively assures us the tabloid's cover story is "complete B.S." The magazine's rundown of the actress's supposed "secrets" is simply fabricated. Of course, OK! has a long history of printing lies about the actress, so we weren't at all shocked by this latest manufactured article.
Gossip Cop busted the outlet in August for publishing a cover that wrongly asserted Aniston was pregnant with a "miracle baby at 48." And this past March, the tabloid falsely declared in another cover story that Aniston and Theroux's marriage was over. This latest report is more fiction from the repeatedly discredited publication.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
