A new report claims Jennifer Aniston is "extremely anxious" and "nervous" to return to TV now that filming is underway on her upcoming Apple series with Reese Witherspoon. The article, however, is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct it.
Aniston's untitled TV drama, which takes place behind the scenes of a morning show, started shooting this week. HollywoodLife claims to have "exclusively learned" how the actress feels about taking on the project, which co-stars Witherspoon and Steve Carell. An alleged insider tells the blog, "Jen is telling friends she's extremely anxious and nervous to return to TV. The anxiety of having a successful show is getting to her."
The outlet's supposed source adds, "It's been years since she's had a big hit and Jen feels the pressure of having a successful show like 'Friends' again as that was her last big stint on TV." The questionable tipster further contends that Aniston is "putting a lot of pressure on herself" because she knows her return to the small screen will be highly-anticipated. "Also, the idea of having to film a TV schedule again is something she'll need to readjust and get used to," adds the seemingly nonexistent tipster.
While the blog's story is entirely based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable "insider," Gossip Cop checked in with Aniston's own spokesperson, who tells us in no uncertain terms that it's "nonsense." The actress's rep assures on the record, "It's just the opposite. She is extremely excited about the show especially with the amazing cast of actors." "They are already having a blast and they have only started filming this week," adds Aniston's spokesperson.
It's worth noting, HollywoodLies, as it's known, consistently pretends to have "exclusives" about Aniston, but we've been told that no one in the actress's inner circle is in contact with the blog. This latest article is yet just another example of that. As noted above, the outlet's contention that Aniston is "nervous" about shooting her series, says her rep, wholly untrue.
Of course, the website is hardly reliable when it comes to reporting accurate news about the actress. Gossip Cop busted the blog in August for wrongly reporting that Aniston was getting back together with Justin Theroux. The actress and her estranged husband clearly haven't reunited.
Here's what's really happening. Aniston's Apple drama began shooting this week, so the blog decided to capitalize on the news by pretending to have insight into her feelings on the project. The article is a total fabrication.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
