Jennifer Aniston is not writing a "memoir," despite a false report. Gossip Cop can debunk the phony story. The actress has no plans to pen a book about her life.
According to RadarOnline, the actress became inspired to write a tell-all book after learning that Demi Moore scored a major payday for her upcoming memoir. A supposed source tells the outlet that Aniston "is at a moment in her life where she has time to sit down and write." This is untrue from the very start, as the actress has a very busy schedule at the moment. She's currently shooting the Apple series "The Morning Show," after which she starts production on the Netflix comedy First Ladies.
Still, the alleged insider goes on to say that Aniston "has a lot she wants to get out there," including "the struggles she went through early in her career, what she really thought about 'Friends,' her many romances" and her marriages to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. The questionable tipster further contends that "nothing will be off limits" in the actress's so-called "memoir," which she's hoping will "make her a fortune."
The blog's report is both false and unoriginal. In fact, Gossip Cop busted RadarOnline back in October for falsely claiming Aniston was writing a "blockbuster tell-all" about her life. The premise wasn't true seven months ago and it's no more accurate now. In 2017, we called out the website's sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting that Aniston was writing a tell-all book to "set the record straight" on all the rumors surrounding her personal life.
Aniston's rep exclusively told us at the time, "Jen has never wanted to write a memoir, and we have continuously made that clear every time gossip magazines have fabricated this story." The actress's opinion on the matter hasn't changed, despite this phony narrative being repeatedly recycled.
It's worth noting, the blog has come up with many different variations of this theme. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the site for making up a story about Theroux writing a "scathing tell-all" about Aniston. That article said the actor was planning to expose all of the actress's "darkest secrets." Of course, Theroux never wrote such a book.
This latest take on the subject seems to have been written to capitalize on the news that Moore has a memoir in the works. Aniston simply isn't following in the footsteps of the fellow actress. The claim otherwise is baseless.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
