Jennifer Aniston does not hate former "Friends" co-star Matthew Perry, despite a completely false report. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight. We're told the claim is complete "nonsense."
A new RadarOnline article claims the actress "can't stand" her former TV colleague, who's been open about his past struggles with drugs and alcohol, because she supposedly finds him "troubled." A so-called "source" tells the site, "Jen wishes Matthew no harm, but she has zero desire to socialize with him." The outlet's dubious insider adds, "She made a real effort to stay in touch the first few years after they all separated, but it became clear Matthew had to find his own path in life and he wasn't someone Jen felt she had anything in common with." Meanwhile, the suspicious source further claims "it saddens" Perry that "Jen's such a snob who's more interested in prestige and money these days."
But Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Aniston, who exclusively assures us the webloid's report is "nonsense." We're further told, "She adores Matt - doesn't always see him as much as Courteney [Cox] and Lisa [Kudrow], but when they do it's all good." A Perry insider similar tells us he and his former co-star are still on good terms. This is simply a non-issue.
Of course, it's easy to manufacture a claim like this since because, while Aniston is frequently seen with Cox and, to a lesser extent, Kudrow, she hasn't been pictured with Perry or her other former male co-stars from "Friends" in years. But just because she hasn't stayed particularly close to a colleague from more than a decade ago doesn't mean she "can't stand" Perry.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time RadarOnline has concocted a bogus report surrounding two "Friends" co-stars. Prior to making up this phony feud, the unreliable website wrongly reported Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox were dating simply because they shared a friendly kiss at last year's cast reunion. We've also debunked the outlet's countless phony stories about Aniston, including the claim she was adopting a child from a Mexican orphanage. This latest article baselessly pitting the actress against her former TV co-star is equally false.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
