Jennifer Aniston did not "throw Justin Theroux's things in the trash," despite a bogus report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this nonsense. We're told there's no truth to it.
"Jen's Brutal Divorce Purge!" reads a new RadarOnline headline. The accompanying article claims the actress tossed out most of the belongings that her estranged husband had left at their Bel Air home. "She gave him notice that things would be thrown if he didn't take care of them," a so-called "source" tells the site.
According to the alleged insider, some of the items that Aniston threw away include the actor's collection of toy airplanes and all of his bathroom products. She apparently "boxed up" his clothes and other valuables, but if Theroux doesn't pick up his items by a certain date, "they will be binned or given to charity," says the questionable tipster.
"She's being very brutal about this, much to Justin's horror," adds the seemingly phony source. Aniston's rep, however, tells Gossip Cop that the blog's story is "complete nonsense." A source close to Theroux, speaking on background, similarly assures us his estranged wife hasn't dumped any of his belongings. The site's fictional account of events is simply an attempt to create nonexistent drama between the exes.
Additionally, Aniston and Theroux still talk all the time and have remained on good terms following their split. From what Gossip Cop understands, the breakup wasn't at all acrimonious. The exes even noted in their separation announcement, "[We] look forward to continuing our cherished friendship." Regardless, Gossip Cop can confirm that Aniston isn't vengefully throwing away Theroux's personal items.
Unfortunately, RadarOnline has consistently churned out fake news about the exes since they announced their split last month, so we're not surprised by this latest fabrication. Gossip Cop recently busted the site for falsely claiming Theroux was writing a "scathing tell-all" about Aniston. We also debunked the blog's made-up story about the actress's family supposedly telling her they liked Brad Pitt more than her newly-estranged husband.
When Aniston and Theroux announced their breakup last month, they warned that any subsequent stories about their split that didn't come directly from them would be "someone else's fictional narrative." This latest article is part of that category.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
