A claim about Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's marriage falling apart is 100 percent not true. This report is comprised of allegations that have no merit. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
"Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux reportedly are headed for divorce, and her ex-husband Brad Pitt and friend Jimmy Kimmel have unexpected roles in the split," contends The Inquisitr, which asserts that, "In recent months, rumors have soared that Aniston's second marriage is headed for the same fate as her first, reported New Idea." The site links to an article on the Australian tabloid's website from December. And the Aussie gossip magazine in turn points to an In Touch cover story that wrongly declared Aniston and Theroux's marriage was "over."
Gossip Cop busted that bogus report more than a month ago, but here is The Inquisitr acting like it is new and legitimate. From there, the blog claims "there reportedly is help for Jennifer as her marriage to Justin is crumbling," because her pal Kimmel has "stepped up" to aid her during this supposedly difficult time. Although untrue, that contention is at least recent, as the outlet is relying on a RadarOnline story that just came out on Monday.
Of course, Gossip Cop promptly busted it because it was erroneous, but here is The Inquistir spreading the misinformation as if it is gospel. As for the "role" Pitt is purportedly playing in the situation, the online publication notes he "allegedly reunited" with Aniston, "adding to her rumored marriage problems." There's also a hodgepodge of other claims thrown out, such as the actress and Theroux supposedly having a big argument and going on a trip to "smooth over their marriage problems." The website eventually concludes, "Some believe it's only a matter of when, not if, Jennifer and Justin will divorce."
That's arguably the case with most Hollywood couples, as few stand the test of time. But while no one can predict whether Aniston and Theroux will still be together decades from now, the notion that there is an imminent divorce looming is utterly false, as is every other allegation here. Their marriage was not "over" in December, nor are Pitt and Kimmel playing "roles" in the supposed "split."
It's true Aniston and Theroux took a New Year's trip, as they always do, and it's true Kimmel is close to Aniston and Theroux. But the vacation wasn't to work through alleged marital woes and the late night host is not assisting the actress through non-existent problems. The only thing falling apart is The Inquisitr's inaccurate article.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
