Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s marriage is not “crumbling,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this tabloid tale. We’re told it’s “wrong.”

According to Life & Style, Aniston recently flew to Berlin, where Theroux is filming the movie Mute, to salvage her marriage. The magazine claims that even though they looked “happy” in photographs, their marriage is in trouble. “Despite appearances, it wasn’t a romantic reunion for the couple,” contends the tabloid. In fact, the publication alleges that Aniston “showed up unannounced in a last-ditch effort to save her marriage.”

A so-called “friend” tells the outlet, “She basically hunted him down for the make-or-break talks. She’s fed up with their long-distance Skype-every-other-day marriage, his refusal to settle down in LA and his choosing his career over her,” continues the questionable source, adding, “She just hopes her Hail Mary attempt works.” The tabloid then goes on to list all the projects Theroux has been working on including, The Girl On The Train, “The Leftovers,” and now Mute to forward its assertion that “Jen’s over it. ” “She explained that she was tired of having an absentee husband,” further claims the dubious insider, who continues, “She really had it out with him during a days-long conversation. She was alternating between anger and tears.”

Gossip Cop will cut to the chase: A source close to the couple exclusively assures us the article’s premise about their marriage “crumbling” and Aniston rushing off to Berlin in a “last-ditch effort” to save her marriage is simply “wrong.”

Naturally, we’re not surprised by the falsity of the tabloid’s story. Remember, this is the same unreliable publication Gossip Cop busted when it untruthfully alleged in a cover story in December 2015 that Aniston and Theroux were getting a divorce. It also blared on a 2014 cover that Aniston was adopting a baby girl. Of course, there were a slew of other provably wrong stories by Life & Style in the intervening years, but the examples mentioned clearly illustrate how unreliable the magazine has been, while Gossip Cop continues to be the most credible source of celebrity reporting.
