Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Moving To A Farm In California? News Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Moving To A Farm In California?

Last year, Gossip Cop busted two separate stories about Jennifer Aniston's friendships with Jimmy Kimmel and Jason Bateman. One article alleged she was angry with the talk show host for supposedly taking Justin Theroux's side in their divorce. The other report claimed Bateman's wife was upset about the actress getting too close to her husband following the split. We debunked both premises when they first emerged, and they were definitively proven false this week when Aniston celebrated New Year's Eve with both of her pals.

In March 2018, OK! made up a story about Bateman's wife, Amanda Anka, being sick of Aniston leaning on her husband amid her divorce. The magazine contended that the actor's wife was bothered by Aniston's supposed "late-night phone calls, endless texts and overnight stays." An alleged insider told the tabloid that Anka believed their friendship was becoming "inappropriate given he's a married father with kids."

Not only did a source close to the situation assure us the story was nonsense, but the outlet didn't seem to realize that Aniston is also close friends with Bateman's wife. In fact, the two women were spotted shopping in New York City just a few weeks after the phony story was published last year. Just a few months ago, Aniston and Anka were spotted hanging out together in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop called out In Touch last August for falsely claiming that Aniston was "furious" with Kimmel for remaining friends with Theroux. The article was published shortly after the actor appeared on Kimmel's talk show to promote his movie The Spy Who Dumped Me. At the time, a supposed source told the outlet that the actress felt "betrayed" and would "not be guesting on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' anytime soon."

Gossip Cop shot down the bogus article when it first emerged, and just last month, Aniston appeared on Kimmel's show to promote her new Netflix movie Dumplin'. Interestingly enough, the actress's guest spot came just one day after Theroux also visited the talk show. It's clear there's no issue over Kimmel "taking sides" in their divorce.

In the time since we debunked both articles mentioned above, it's become even more clear they were flat-out false. Aniston joined both Kimmel and Bateman, as well as their wives, on a vacation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming to ring in the new year. The actress is obviously still close with Kimmel, and it's apparent that Bateman's wife isn't threatened by her.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
