Jennifer Aniston was NOT "dumped" by husband Justin Theroux on her 48th birthday, despite a completely made-up tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We're told it's not true.
According to Life & Style, the couple's relationship has fallen apart due to jealousy, their different personalities, and assorted other issues. A so-called "source" tells the magazine that the breaking point came when Aniston saw a picture of her husband hanging out with Naomi Watts at a recent event in New York City. "Jen was absolutely livid when she saw photos of Justin and Naomi," says the outlet's dubious insider. "They looked way too close for Jen's liking, and they had a major screaming match over the phone."
The tabloid's questionable source adds, "The problems in their marriage are so acute, Jen was afraid he was going to file right around her birthday. It's absolutely her worst nightmare." The magazine's "insider" also alleges that Aniston was "embarrassed" by Theroux clowning around with his buddies at Orlando Bloom's birthday party earlier this year, and she even "made him leave early." The seemingly manufactured source further contends that the couple also hate each other's friends and have completely different tastes that "eventually led to separate lives."
"Justin has told friends that 2017 is his year to start fresh," adds the outlet's supposed "source." "Jen and Justin are at the bitter end. There are far more things wrong with the relationship than right." But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who exclusively assures us the tabloid's story is absolutely "not true." We're told their marriage is going strong, and any claims otherwise are simply bogus. A rep for Aniston simply called the publication "scum" for its untrue tale.
In fact, Aniston and Theroux spent her birthday together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and he even posted a selfie of the two on Instagram (below) to wish his wife a happy birthday. "HBDJ," he wrote, along with a heart emoji and an "XO" at the end. The picture also features the actress blowing a kiss to the camera while showing off her wedding ring. Check out the happy couple below.
It also worth noting this is hardly the first time Life & Style has published such an inaccurate "dumped" cover story about the couple. They've actually run many over the years, but to give just one example, in 2014 the tabloid wrongly said Aniston was "dumped" on her wedding day. Of course, she and Theroux didn't marry until 2015. Now it's long past time to DUMP the publication's dreadful reporting.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
