Jennifer Aniston and Charlize Theron are not fighting over Brad Pitt, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. It's completely fabricated.
In the fantasy world of In Touch, Aniston had rekindled a relationship with her ex-husband, but Theron has been "getting cozy" with him, and the two women got into a "heated argument" over the situation. According to the magazine, Aniston broke down in tears after confronting Theron at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, but Theron was unfazed by the altercation.
A supposed source tells the magazine, "[Theron] feels no loyalty to Jen and basically feels that she already had her chance with him. Charlize thinks Brad was never really into Jen anyway and saw their reunion as more of a no-strings-attached fling while they both got over their divorces." The alleged insider further contends that Aniston "has told pals she feels as though the nightmare with [Angelina Jolie] is repeating itself. She's out of her mind with jealousy and feels like someone is playing a cruel trick on her. Brad's head has been turned by a younger woman after he vowed to never hurt Jen again."
In reality, however, Pitt and Theron aren't dating. Gossip Cop has been told on the record by the actor's spokesperson that he's not in a romance with the actress and never has been. The two stars shot an ad for Breitling watches last year, but Pitt's rep told us he "hasn't seen [Theron] in months" and never dated the actress.
As for Aniston, she never rekindled a relationship with her ex-husband. Separate reps for both stars have told Gossip Cop countless times that the ex-spouses never got back together. This was confirmed by Aniston's close friend Portia de Rossi, who told Us Weekly last year she knows for "fact a fact" that the exes "haven't seen each other" in a long time.
Aniston and Theron, neither of whom are involved with Pitt, never got into a showdown at the Sunset Tower Hotel. It's worth noting, the magazine never mentions when their alleged confrontation even occurred. That's because the two actresses aren't in a battle over a man they're not dating. This absurd love triangle is a fake soap opera created by the tabloids.
Last week, Gossip Cop called out In Touch's sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for making up a similar story about Aniston and Theron "going to war" over Pitt. Shortly after that, In Touch falsely claimed Pitt was torn between Aniston and Theron. This ongoing saga is a work of fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
