One of this week's tabloids claims Jennifer Aniston is "shattered" over Brad Pitt's so-called "romance" with spiritual healer Sat Hari Khalsa. The story is both late and wrong. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.
Earlier this week, Gossip Cop busted Star for wrongly reporting that Pitt had "dumped" Aniston for Khalsa, who he was spotted laughing and chatting with at a fundraiser in Los Angeles last month. The article was incorrect on every level. The first problem was that the ex-spouses were never back together in any capacity, as reps for both stars have said on the record several times. The second issue is that Pitt isn't dating Khalsa. The actor's spokesperson assured us of this, while reputable publications such as People magazine have also confirmed they're just friends.
Unfortunately, the Globe has decided to keep pushing this phony narrative. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Jen's walking around like a zombie, tearing up at the slightest thing. She was totally blindsided and didn't see this coming." The supposed source goes on to say that when Aniston supposedly discovered Pitt had ditched her for Khalsa, "she was numb. It hit her like a ton of bricks. Brad really had her believing they could make it work again. Now, she can't believe her own stupidity."
The seemingly nonexistent tipster continues, "Brad's deceived Jen for the second time and she's heartbroken, not to mention furious at the audacity of his actions." The magazine's suspicious source concludes, "Brad gave Jen no inkling that he was rethinking things. She doesn't know if she can ever forgive him for this."
Of course, Aniston isn't upset over Pitt's nonexistent romance with Khalsa. Furthermore, even if the actor were dating the spiritual healer, which he isn't, his ex-wife still wouldn't be troubled by it. The two haven't seen each other in a very long time. As we've noted, Aniston's close friend Portia de Rossi told Us Weekly she knows "for a fact" that the two "haven't seen each other."
Unfortunately, we're not surprised the publication is spreading false claims. In August, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for alleging that the reason Angelina Jolie is battling Pitt for custody of their kids is because she found out he was hooking up with Aniston. Naturally, that storyline was entirely absurd. The magazine's ongoing saga surrounding Pitt and Aniston has more in common with a fictional soap opera than it does with journalism.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
