Jennifer Aniston is not reuniting with Brad Pitt simply because the actress visited George Clooney's house in Italy over the weekend, despite a ridiculous report. Gossip Cop can clear up this nonsense. The ex-spouses aren't back together.
On Sunday, Aniston was photographed arriving at George and Amal Clooney's Lake Como home. What does that have to do with Pitt? Absolutely nothing. However, RadarOnline has arbitrarily dragged the actor into the story for no reason whatsoever.
"Brad & Jen Reunion? Aniston Caught Sneaking Out Of Pitt BFF's Italian Villa!" reads a new headline on the website. The unreliable blog then speculates that Aniston "just confirmed her rekindled romance" with Pitt by "sneaking out" out of Clooney's mansion. The only reason for this flimsy conclusion is that Pitt happens to be friends with Clooney as well. To say this is all a major stretch is an understatement.
What the website doesn't mention is that Aniston is currently in Italy shooting the Netflix comedy Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler, who also visited Clooney's house alongside the actress. There was no "sneaking" around going on either, as Aniston casually pulled up to the actor's villa on a water taxi. Paparazzi pictures from Aniston's arrival show that she wasn't even wearing sunglasses as she entered the property. The actress clearly had nothing to hide.
Regardless, the blog's premise is just ludicrous. Reps for both Pitt and Aniston have repeatedly told us they haven't rekindled a romance. Reputable outlets such as People have also noted that a reunion between Pitt and Aniston is "highly unlikely" and the two "haven't seen each other in ages." Just because Clooney has stayed friendly with both Pitt and Aniston since their split doesn't mean the exes have anything to do with each other.
Additionally, Aniston paid tribute to Clooney at his AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony in June. Three weeks later, E! News published an article detailing the history of Aniston and Clooney's friendship, which spanned before, during and after her relationship with Pitt. It's pretty clear that RadarOnline is just looking for any possible excuse to come up with another phony report about Aniston and Pitt reuniting.
Of course, this is hardly the first time we've had to call out the blog for making up a ridiculous story about the former spouses. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for falsely claiming that Aniston wanted Pitt to be her "baby daddy." This latest article is more nonsense from the untrustworthy site.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
