Jennifer Aniston is not moving in with Brad Pitt, contrary to a new tabloid cover story. This report is based on the false premise that the exes are back together. Gossip Cop can debunk it, and a rep for Aniston denies she plans to live with her former husband.
The latest edition of In Touch features the made-up headline, "Jen Surprises Brad: I'm Moving In!" In the wake of Aniston's Bel Air home being featured in Architectural Digest, the gossip magazine contends she "plans to bid farewell to her dream house" in order to live with Pitt. A so-called "insider" is quoted as saying, "She and Brad are ready for the next logical step in their relationship: Moving in together."
"They've grown closer in recent months and realize they were meant to be together," continues the outlet's ill-informed source, who claims the plan is to put Aniston's estate up for sale and live in Pitt's Pacific Palisades home. "It's most likely that Jen would move in there," alleges the supposed snitch, who asserts Aniston has already been "helping" her purported beau with the abode's "interior design." The idea to shack up supposedly came from the "Friends" star herself, with her "hinting that it would be nice for them to try living together again." The publication's "insider" goes on to predict, "It's only a matter of time before they do."
Of course, the tabloid's cover was deceptively designed to make readers think it's already happened. Along with announcing "Back With Brad: Jen Moves In," there's a photo of a moving truck. The front of the issue even teases "candlelit dinners & nights of passion." In the actual article, though, it's revealed that's not really going on now. Rather, it's something Aniston supposedly "envisions" for the future. As for the moving truck, Wetzel & Sons is a real Los Angeles-based moving and storage company, but it was not recently photographed outside either Aniston or Pitt's homes. The picture showcased is entirely random and has nothing to do with either star.
Meanwhile, in regards to Angelina Jolie, the alleged tipster claims, "One of the kids overheard Jen and Brad talking about living together again and told Angelina, and she lost it." But the magazine also repeats its already debunked contention from January about Jolie "explod[ing] in anger" when she learned Aniston had met her and Pitt's kids. As Gossip Cop reported then, no such meeting ever took place. People even reported in February that Pitt and Aniston haven't seen one another "in ages."
In Touch is trying to dupe readers with this ongoing narrative, even though spokespeople for Aniston and Pitt have individually confirmed to Gossip Cop on the record several times that the exes are not back together. And on top of a rep for Aniston denying this latest story about moving in together, a Pitt confidante further tells Gossip Cop exclusively that this storyline is an example of "sheer stupidity." We couldn't agree more.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
