Jennifer Aniston is not throwing "booze bashes" at her house for her Hollywood friends, despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus story. The actress's rep says it's fabricated.
According to the National Enquirer, one of the ways Aniston has been coping with her split from Justin Theroux is by getting drunk with friends at her Bel-Air home. An alleged insider tells the magazine, "Jen has her friends come to her. The bar is always stocked - and she's hosting parties at least twice a week."
The outlet's questionable source goes on to say that Theroux always hated when Aniston hosted parties for her Hollywood friends, so she's even more eager to do so now that they've separated. Some of the A-list pals said to frequent the actress's parties include Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox and Ed Sheeran. "Jen relied on them after the split," adds the supposed tipster. "She likes the comfort of being home and being surrounded by the people she trusts. She loves being the life of the party - especially if it's her party!"
The magazine's premise is based on claims from an anonymous and seemingly imaginary "source," but Aniston's own spokesperson is going on the record to dismiss it. Of course, it's reasonable to believe the actress is spending time with friends amid her divorce, but the idea that she's constantly hosting alcohol-fueled parties simply isn't true.
In fact, Aniston celebrated her 49th birthday at Cox's house in February, just days before announcing her split. People magazine noted at the time, "They had friends over, hung out and also celebrated her special day. Spending time at Courteney's always make her happy." As opposed to throwing a rager at her own home, the actress opted to quietly celebrate her birthday at her friend's place.
It's also worth noting, the Enquirer is hardly a reliable source when it comes to getting accurate news about the actress's personal life. In August, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Aniston and Theroux were getting back together. That clearly hasn't happened.
Less than two weeks after claiming the actress was reuniting with her estranged husband, the outlet said Aniston had "reignited" her romance with Brad Pitt. That article even claimed that the two had been meeting up all summer for "steamy romps." Naturally, the magazine ignored its previous storyline about her and Theroux getting back together. This latest article is more fiction from the unreliable outlet.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
