In the fantasy world created by the tabloids, Jennifer Aniston is constantly adopting a baby or pregnant with one. Gossip Cop has debunked countless variations on this theme. Here are five wrong rumors.
Last week, Gossip Cop busted the Globe for falsely claiming the actress was adopting a baby girl from a Mexican orphanage. The magazine maintained Aniston had always wanted to adopt a child when she was still with Justin Theroux, but the actor wasn't interested so she's decided to go at it alone. Not only did a rep for the actress tells us on the record the story was made-up, but the premise wasn't even original. RadarOnline falsely asserted Aniston was adopting a child from a Mexican orphanage in November 2016. Star made the same claim in both 2010 and 2011. It remains untrue.
Earlier this month, Gossip Cop called out NW for making up a story about Sandra Bullock encouraging Aniston to adopt a baby. Bullock, who adopted two children as a single mom before meeting boyfriend Bryan Randall, supposedly told the actress she should follow her path. The story was based on claims from an anonymous tipster, but Aniston's rep, speaking on her behalf, told us Bullock wasn't persuading her to adopt a child.
Also earlier this month, In Touch published a ridiculous cover story claiming Aniston was having a baby girl with Brad Pitt. The outlet further contended the exes held a gender reveal party over New Year's to break the news to their friends. Gossip Cop, however, has been told by separate reps for both stars that they haven't rekindled a romance in any capacity. Aniston and Pitt certainly aren't expecting a child together. Meanwhile, Aniston's close friend Portia de Rossi told Us Weekly last year she knows "for a fact" that the exes "haven't seen each other."
Gossip Cop busted New Idea last July for falsely claiming Aniston was spotted "cradling a baby bump." The unreliable outlet didn't even bother to mention the identity of the alleged child's father. The magazine, however, maintained the "baby's due in January 2019." It's now the last day of January 2019, and Aniston hasn't given birth, nor is she pregnant. In fact, in Aniston's cover story for the January 2019 issue of Elle, she opened up about her hesitancy to have kids. "Some people are just built to be wives and have babies. I don't know how naturally that comes to me," said the actress.
And finally, Gossip Cop corrected Star in December 2017 after the tabloid alleged Aniston was having a baby with Theroux. The outlet said that after "16 months of fertility treatments," the actress was finally expecting. As soon as the article was published, the actress's rep assured us on the record she wasn't pregnant. Just a few weeks later, Aniston and Theroux announced they had separated.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
