Jennifer Aniston has adopted many babies in the fantasy world created by the tabloids. In reality, of course, the actress doesn't have any children. Here are a few wrong rumors claiming otherwise.
Just last month, Gossip Cop busted Woman's Day for falsely claiming Aniston was adopting her half-brother AJ's two kids. The magazine contended that the actress's younger half-brother, who she hasn't had contact with for several years, had "abandoned" his 4-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl, so Aniston was stepping in to care for them. Only, the actress has been estranged from her half-brother for more than a decade and has never met his children. Additionally, the two young kids are being raised by their mother, Adriane Hallek, so the tabloid's premise didn't make much sense. Regardless, Aniston's own spokesperson told us the report was bizarre and false.
Gossip Cop called out the Globe in January for wrongly reporting that Aniston was adopting a baby girl from a Mexican orphanage. According to the outlet, the actress had always wanted to adopt a child when she was still with Justin Theroux, but the actor wasn't interested and so she decided to do it alone. Not only did Aniston's rep tells us the story was made-up, but the narrative wasn't original either. Star published articles in both 2010 and 2011 claiming the actress was adopting from a Mexican orphanage. RadarOnline came up with a similar premise in 2016. The ongoing narrative remains untrue.
Also in January, Gossip Cop debunked an NW story about Sandra Bullock encouraging Aniston to adopt a baby. Bullock, who adopted two children as a single mom before meeting boyfriend Bryan Randall, supposedly told the actress to follow her path. "Sandra is encouraging Jen to do it sooner rather than later, and Jen agrees," a supposed source told the magazine. Aniston's spokesperson, who's qualified to speak on her behalf, assured us that Bullock wasn't persuading her to adopt a baby.
And back when the actress was still with Theroux in 2017, New Idea falsely claimed Aniston was pregnant with a baby and also adopting another child from Puerto Rico following the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. As time has proven, the actress was never expecting a child with her ex and the pair never adopted one either. A rep Aniston told Gossip Cop at the time, "It's all a fabrication."
It's worth noting, Aniston's own spokesperson went on the record to dismiss every article mentioned above. Conversely, the outlets that published the phony reports hid behind anonymous and untraceable "insiders." The passage of time has also definitively proven that the actress hasn't adopted any babies and never had any intention of doing so.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
