Former “Subway” spokesperson Jared Fogle allegedly paid a 16-year-old for sex.

As Gossip Cop reported, Fogle’s Indiana home was raided last month as part of a child porn investigation. While Fogle was not immediately charged with any crime, and still hasn’t been, the restaurant chain cuts ties with the longtime healthy eating advocate. Now a new report says the ongoing investigation has uncovered illicit text messages.

According to Business Insider, the FBI has subpoenaed legal documents containing exchanges between Fogle and a now-former Subway franchisee. The conversations, which took place in 2008, reportedly include Fogle asking the woman if she would “advertise herself on Craigslist for sex with other men” for money, and asking “if he can watch the sexual acts.” The woman allegedly responded, “Is this the same website you found that 16 year old girl you that you f*cked?… I still can’t believe you only paid $100 for her.”

“It was amazing!!!!” Fogle allegedly replied. The age of consent in Indiana is 16. In other messages, Fogle, who apparently had a sexual relationship with the woman, allegedly wanted to be set up with her underage cousin, and wrote, “Tell me what u think about when u think of the three of us all together???”

The woman reportedly grew uncomfortable with her relationship with Fogle, and, with a lawyer’s help, complained to Subway, telling them, in part, that “he should not be interacting with young people.” The attorney, however, says the company took no action. The FBI is now said to be seeking the woman’s affidavit on the issue.

For its part, Subway says it doesn’t have any record of the woman’s complaints. Fogle’s legal team has not yet spoken out about the allegations. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Russell Taylor, who was the executive director of Fogle Foundation, which tackles adolescent obesity, was arrested earlier this year on child pornography charges. It is not clear whether the two cases are connected. Gossip Cop will continue to have updates.

UPDATE: In a tweeted statement sent Saturday afternoon, Subway says, “The latest allegation about Jared Fogle, if true, is appalling. As previously stated, we have suspended our relationship with Jared.”
