A tabloid claims Jamie Foxx has "dumped" Katie Holmes "again" so that he can hook up with other women. The story is completely untrue and provides an inaccurate portrayal of the couple's romance. Gossip Cop can clear up the situation.
Holmes and Foxx were spotted on multiple outings over the past month or so after not having been seen together for a while. According to the National Enquirer, the pair's recent hangouts came on the heels of a reunion following a breakup a few months back. This is inaccurate from the very start. As Gossip Cop has stressed several times, the two stars have an unconventional relationship and spend time together when their schedules allow it.
An article in the latest issue of the magazine, however, maintains that Foxx has "ditched" Holmes yet again. An alleged insider tells the outlet, "Jamie can't control himself. He's still attracted to Katie, but there's no way he wants to get serious with her and stop seeing other hot chicks."
The supposed source goes on to say that Foxx has a habit of "starting a fight with Katie at his own convenience," so that "they'll break up, and he's free to hook up with other women without being attached." The suspicious tipster adds, "Jamie has been making a fool out of Katie for way too long now. It's as though he knows that once he clicks his fingers, she'll come running back to him and he can have as much fun as he likes on his own terms before walking away when he gets bored."
None of this is remotely true. The real reason that Foxx and Holmes aren't constantly attached at the hip is that they choose not to be. It doesn't mean the actor is constantly "dumping" her and that she's taking him back. Multiple sources have confirmed to Gossip Cop that the two have a casual romance. They also happen to live on separate coasts. People magazine, a much more reliable source for celebrity news than the Enquirer, similarly reported that Foxx and Holmes "spend time together" when it's convenient, but "when they're busy and they can't, they don't."
It's worth noting, the Enquirer is all over the place when it comes to reporting about the couple. In January, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for wrongly reporting that Holmes and Foxx were planning a wedding after the actress's parents gave the actor their blessing to marry her. In addition to that story being untrue, it contradicts this latest one about Foxx being unwilling to settle down.
Back in November, Gossip Cop called out the publication for falsely claiming Holmes and Foxx were getting married in Paris. That storyline never panned out and has never been brought up again by the unreliable magazine. This latest article surrounding the couple's romance is more fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
