Irina Shayk is not moving on from Bradley Cooper with Justin Theroux, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can correct the story. There's simply no truth to it.
According to Woman's Day, the model started dating Jennifer Aniston's ex shortly after her split from Cooper last month. "She insists it's not a rebound fling and says she has butterflies whenever she sees him, which she hasn't had for a very long time," a supposed source tells the magazine.
The alleged insider further contends Shayk and Theroux struck up a romance after crossing paths at a restaurant and exchanging numbers. "She said she felt instantly relaxed in his company. They met twice the following week for dinner, where she said they had an immediate connection and spark."
From there, the suspicious tipster maintains the Russian supermodel "wants to take things slow and doesn't want to rush into anything given her split from Bradley is so fresh, and Justin's been extremely respectful of that." The questionable source adds, "She turned down an invitation to his birthday dinner next month as she doesn't want to draw any attention to their budding romance."
It's worth immediately noting that Shayk and Theroux haven't been spotted together, despite the outlet's assertion that they've been on at least two dinner dates. The unreliable magazine also doesn't bother to mention when these dates supposedly took place, or where it was that they initially crossed paths.
E! News, a much more reliable source for celebrity news than Woman's Day, reported this week that Shayk "isn't dating anyone" following her split from Cooper as she's "focused on her daughter and spending time with her." The trusted entertainment outlet explains, "She would like to meet someone in the future, but it's not a priority at the moment. She just got out of a long-term relationship and wants to take time to heal."
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who confirms that Shayk and Theroux aren't a couple. Just last month, we called out the magazine for wrongly reporting that both Shayk and Lady Gaga were pregnant with Cooper's babies. Nothing about that scenario was remotely true.
Also last month, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Shayk and Cooper were fighting over custody of their two-year-old daughter. In reality, the exes have remained on good terms and are working together to co-parent the little girl. This latest article involving Theroux is more fiction.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
