Imagine Dragons rocked out in Central Park on Friday for the “GMA” Summer Concert Series. Watch the videos below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, “Good Morning America” is treating viewers to weekly concerts throughout the summer months. Fans are welcome to attend the free shows in person, and many camp out overnight to score the spots closest to the stage, which is located at Rumsey Playfield. Last week’s concert featured Zedd with Liam Payne and Alessia Cara, while today’s show was all about Dan Reynolds and his guys.

The group kicked off their set with “Believer.” The song was released back in February as the lead single from Imagine Dragons’ third album, Evolve. The track peaked at number six on the Hot 100, but scored the top spots on the Adult Top 40, Alternative Songs and Hot Rock Songs charts. “Thunder” was named the second single in April, and the band now played that for the Central Park crowd as well. To date, the single has reached the number two spot on the Hot Rock Songs list.

Meanwhile, Evolve, which dropped in full last month, hit number two on the Billboard 200 and number one on the Top Rock Albums ranking. The record will be supported with the “Evolve Tour,” which is slated to start in late September. Concert dates are currently scheduled across the United States and Canada through mid-November. The “GMA” appearance gave the group a chance to tease what fans will see at the upcoming shows.

But it’s also been a bit of a trying time for Reynolds. As Gossip Cop reported, Imagine Dragons was one of the first music acts to react to the death of Chester Bennington earlier this month, tweeting, “no words. so heartbroken. RIP Chester Bennington.” And in May, Reynolds led a tribute to the late Chris Cornell at the Billboard Music Awards.

Bennington and Linkin Park were scheduled to stage their own “GMA” summer concert next week, but the band understandably canceled in the wake of his death. The morning show announced today that it will instead feature a tribute performance in honor of Bennington and Cornell, led by OneRepublic. Check out the Imagine Dragons videos below, and be sure to come back next Friday for coverage of that special tribute concert.
