Iggy Azalea gave the first TV performance of “Switch” on Friday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Watch the video below!

“Switch” was released last week as the third single from Azalea’s upcoming album, Digital Distortion. It follows “Team,” which came out last year, and “Mo Bounce, which dropped in March. The Australian rapper co-wrote the song with a bevy of collaborators, and teamed up with Anitta on the vocals.

Azalea originally crafted the song last summer without the Brazilian singer. When searching for a fellow female to join her on the track, Anitta was suggested to her by a pal. Azalea checked out the songstress on YouTube and was sold enough to bring her on to the project. Anitta added her voice to the mix in February, and Azalea began teasing the collaboration in April.

Unfortunately, the music video the pair filmed might not see the light of day after an unfinished version leaked online. Understandably, the leak upset Azalea, and complicated roll-out plans for the official edition. Despite that drama, she was quite excited to perform the song on “The Tonight Show.” She wrote to fans on Twitter before the taping, “I’m really glad to see how many of you are loving #Switch. I’m happy I got to finally share it with you all and I cant wait to perform it!”

“I’m very proud of the love & support you guys have shown @Anitta. She was a perfect fit for the song and she’s going to kill it tonight,” Azalea went on. Then after the broadcast, she posted, “Ahhhh! Thank you @FallonTonight for having @anitta and I tonight performing #Switch for the FIRST time! We had so much fun!”

Azalea further told her supporters, “The fact that you guys are so dedicated and that you loved the performance so much makes me happy <3.” Since “Switch” only came out last week, its ranking on the Billboard charts isn’t known yet, but a TV performance may give it a boost.
