Ice Cube NWA Tonight Show Jimmy Fallon

Ice Cube wasn’t allowed to say on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show” what his former group’s name N.W.A. stands for, so he and Jimmy Fallon instead revealed what the acronym does NOT stand for. Watch the funny video below!

N.W.A., otherwise known as “Nigg*z Wit Attitudes,” was a popular ’80s and ’90s rap group whose members included Ice Cube, Eazy E. and Dr. Dre. “Some people out there might not know what the letters N.W.A. stands for,” said Fallon. The late-night host added, “But we can’t really say what it means on the air,” to which Ice Cube replied, “Yeah, especially you Jimmy.”

Fallon then introduced the sketch, “Things N.W.A. Does Not Stand For,” in which he and Ice Cube listed a handful of phrases that are NOT the meaning behind the rap group’s name. The things that N.W.A. does not stand for includes, “Nine White Accountants,” “No Way, Ashley,” “Nickelback Was Awesome,” “No Winking Allowed,” “Namedropping Woody Allen,” “Naughty Wittle Ascots,” and “New Wand Abracadabra.”

Ice Cube was on the “Tonight Show” to promote the upcoming music biopic Straight Outta Compton, which tells the true story of N.W.A.’s rise to prominence in the mid-1980s. Watch the video below of Ice Cube and Jimmy Fallon revealing “Things N.W.A. Does Not Stand For,” and tell us what you think.
