The annual baseball competition, which kicked off in 1985, is being held this year at Marlins Park in Miami. Eight seeded players will face off in the bracket style tournament, with each competitor getting four minutes to hit a many home runs as possible. This year’s top seed is defending champion Giancarlo Stanton, the Marlins outfielder who broke a record in 2016 with 61 home runs.

Joining Stanton as part of the National League’s lineup include Dodgers rookie Cody Bellinger, Marlins first baseman Justin Bour and Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon. Representing the American League is Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez, Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge, Twins third baseman Miguel Sano and Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas.

Each player is given a 45-second timeout during the first and second rounds, while in the finals, the competitors receive an additional 30-second timeout. If a player hits two home runs at a distance of 440 feet or more, they’ll earn an additional 30 seconds of bonus time. During the final minute of each round, the clock stops when a player hits a home run and stays stopped until they hit a non-homer, giving the players a chance to hit multiple home runs with no time limit.

In addition to the main event, Pitbull will be performing shortly before the tournament gets underway. The 2017 MLB Home Run Derby begins at 8 p.m. ET. Click to watch the live stream. NOTE: The video is no longer available.
