HollywoodLife Liam Payne Marrying

HollywoodLife is flip-flopping on Liam Payne marrying Cheryl Cole. Gossip Cop can explain how the webloid has been caught lying about his supposed wedding plans.

Last October, the site ran an “exclusive” announcing, “Liam Payne & Cheryl Fernandez-Versini Getting Married? — Inside Their Plans To Wed.” The accompanying story asserted “it’s only a matter of time before the pair become engaged!” A so-called “source” was quoted as saying, “Now that Cheryl is officially divorced, Liam is eager to ask her hand in marriage.”

“Liam and Cheryl have been discussing marriage for some time now, down to the details of who would be the best man and who would be the bridesmaids,” the supposed snitch claimed to the site, further contending the couple was “excited” to “be husband and wife.” That was followed in April by another exclusive, this one headlined, “Liam Payne & Cheryl Getting Married After Birth Of Baby Boy? Their Plans Revealed.”

The online outlet alleged, “Cheryl thinks Liam’s her ‘soulmate,’ and she can’t wait to tie the knot!” And a so-called “insider” supposedly maintained, “After ending her second marriage, Cheryl vowed she would never walk down the aisle again unless of course she met her soulmate. Well she’s done just that, and exchanging wedding vows will just be a matter of time now.”

Now less than two months later, HollywoodLies has been proven wrong. Payne said in an interview released this week that he and Cole have no intention of tying the knot. And the bad blog is even reporting his comments with no acknowledgment of its previous untrue wedding stories. “Liam Payne Admits Marrying Cheryl Is ‘Not In The Cards’: Why He Won’t Put A Ring On It,” reads the latest headline. And the article begins, “Liam Payne has no plans to marry Cheryl! The happy couple just had an adorable baby boy together, but the former One Direction star revealed why there’s no wedding in the works.”

The publication goes on to tell its readers, “Liam Payne became a dad this year, but don’t expect him to take on the title ‘husband’ any time soon. So, after previously lying about the couple getting married, HollywoodLies has been forced to flip-flop. And even if the webloid won’t admit it, Payne’s remarks prove the site had no idea what it was talking about when it repeatedly claimed it was “only a matter of time” until he proposed and “just a matter of time” until they wed. Gossip Cop has repeatedly pointed out how HollywoodLies pretends to have insight on hot couples and hot topics. Usually, though, the blog is lying, making up “sources” and “insiders” for fake “exclusives.” This is a case in point.
