HollywoodLife has been caught making up another fake Selena Gomez story. The site, which has been previously busted for manufacturing other untrue articles about her and The Weeknd, now claims Gomez is “laughing off” reports that they’re expecting a “bundle of joy.” Of course, in the real world, Gomez knows she’s not pregnant, so there would be no reason for her to respond one way or the other.

Anyway, a so-called “source” is quoted by the disreputable site as saying, “She and Abe have no desire, or intention, of starting a family,” as neither artist wants to “start a family without being a lot more settled, not to mention married.” “Selena’s not letting the stories bother her one bit,” adds the delusional outlet that spreads false rumors. The blog’s seemingly made-up “source” adds that while there are no baby plans now, “She and Abe are deliriously happy together.”

And Gossip Cop is deliriously laughing at this 100 percent fabricated story. For starters, the dimwits at HollywoodLies, as it’s known, not only made up the whole report, but they also didn’t realize when concocting the fake quotes that The Weeknd’s name is actually Abel, not Abe. And we’re not the only ones who know the article is totally made-up. Even the site’s own readers, who are not journalists, are calling out the blog for its “lies” and “bs” in its comments section (below).

Still, as everyone knows, Gossip Cop fact-checks everything. So, let us explain how this phony HollywoodLies article came into being. The site has a habit of taking other outlets’ reporting, whether true or not, and spinning unique angles out of those stories. In this case, after Gossip Cop busted the equally unreliable RadarOnline for wrongly claiming Gomez was “trying to trap” The Weeknd by getting pregnant with his baby, the scavengers at HollywoodLife took our scrapes and tried to serve up some bogus dish.

But it’s all lies. And if Gomez is “laughing” at anyone, it’s at the notoriously untrustworthy webloid. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Gomez called HollywoodLife the “worst” in a 2015 interview with Billboard because of the site’s propensity to make up stories. Unfortunately, it seems the outlet has gotten worse with time, not better.
