Hillary Clinton Grammys

James Corden and Hillary Clinton teamed up at the Grammy Awards on Sunday to mock Donald Trump by reading Fire And Fury. Watch the video below.

The bit began with Corden noting all the big figures who have won the Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album, including Clinton and Al Gore. He said Trump could be the subject of next year’s winner, and cut to a taped sketch of stars auditioning to narrate the audio version of the controversial book. It began with John Legend, and went on to feature Cher, DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg and Cardi B. But the final person was Clinton herself.

It was announced in May that Corden would be hosting the Grammys for the second time. As Gossip Cop reported, in 2017 the late night talk show host replaced LL Cool J, who had hosted the annual ceremony from 2012 through 2016. Of course, the Brit was already experienced in hosting major events, having emceed the BRIT Awards an impressive five times. Memorably, during last year’s show, Corden opened the Grammys with a hilarious rap after (purposely) falling down the stairs that led onto the stage.

In a recent interview with E!, Corden spoke about hosting the 60th Grammy Awards at a legendary New York City venue. “I think it’s gonna be great. I’ve never been in Madison Square Garden before. I’ve never set foot in there. I went in yesterday. You can’t help but be blown away by the history of that building,” he said. “To bring the Grammys to New York for the first time in 15 years, to be lucky enough to host it… if I could tell my 12-year-old self that this would be his life, his head would explode.”

Corden, of course, currently hosts the “Late Late Show” on CBS, the same network that airs the Grammys. Check out video of the “Fire and Fury” bit below.
