Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy wowed on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars” with the season’s first perfect routine. Morris and her returning partner danced a flawless rumba to TLC’s “Waterfalls” on a night devoted to boy bands and girl groups. Watch the video below of their performance.

As Gossip Cop noted, Chmerkovskiy is back in the “Dancing With The Stars” ballroom after injury his calf several weeks ago. In his place, Alan Bersten teamed up with Morris. For the most part, the former “Glee” star has danced exceedingly well on the competition series, though she has not dominated as expected because of her past experience as a backup dancer for Beyonce. Still, she has done nicely. Last week, Morris’s jazz routine to “For The First Time In Forever” from Frozen earned her 30 out of 40 points.

About that dance, however, Carrie Ann Inaba expressed, “I expected more from you.” And Len Goodman called it “fun.” Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough, however, were more effusive. He felt it was “perfect,” while Hough said it was “amazing.”

This time around, Goodman said, “I loved the speed… It was a knockout dance.” Inaba offered, “By far, your best dance.” “Danced like a champion” said Tonioli. And guest judge Nick Carter expressed, “That was my favorite dance of the night.” For Morris’s rumba, she received a perfect 40 out of 40 points.
