Happy Death Day secured a box office win this weekend, opening with $26.5 million. The new horror film made six times its budget in its opening weekend, more than two weeks before Halloween. Get the details and check out the full Top 10 rankings below!

Hitting theaters on Friday The 13th, Happy Death Day comes from producer Jason Blum and his horror-driven company Blumhouse Productions, which is responsible for the Paranormal Activity franchise and a number of other scary flicks, such as Get Out and Split. This new offering focuses on a college student who is murdered on her birthday. But in a mysterious twist, she keeps reliving her death over and over again. Can she figure out who killed her? Moviegoers apparently wanted to find out since the movie opened in first place.

And while Happy Death Day lacks marquee superstars, it still pushed last week’s chart-topper, Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford’s Blade Runner 2049, down to second. The sequel took in $15.1 million. Coming in third with $12.8 million was The Foreigner, starring Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan. It scared up a fourth place finish with a weekend haul of $6 million. And The Mountain Between Us, starring Kate Winslet and Idris Elba, earned $5.7 million in ticket sales for fifth place.

Rounding out the Top 10 were American Made in sixth with receipts totaling $5.4 million, followed by Kingsman: The Golden Circle in seventh with $5.3 million. The Lego Ninjago Movie secured eight with $4.3 million, while My Little Pony took ninth with $4 million. Just making it into the Top 10 in the last spot was Victoria And Abdul. The movie earned $3.1 million.
