Gwyneth Paltrow is not leaving her honeymoon to "rush back" to work on her lifestyle brand Goop, leaving her new husband Brad Falchuk annoyed, despite a misleading report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the claim. We're told it's inaccurate.
The newlyweds have been traveling around Europe for their honeymoon, and Paltrow will be in London this week to help launch a Goop pop-up store in Notting Hill. According to RadarOnline, the actress is "wrapping up her dreamy honeymoon... only to rush back to the office." A so-called "source" is quoted as speculating that any husband like Falchuk "would be [expletive] off if his wife took a break from their honeymoon to start promoting their business."
The alleged "insider" asserts that while honeymoons are a time to completely get away from everything, including work, "all Gwyneth has done since they got married is post pictures from their honeymoon spots... which helps her business." The blog then notes that Paltrow is next slated to "do a series of TV interviews to push her products" from Goop. "You can imagine how Gwyneth would react if Brad did the same," adds the supposed "source."
Actually, Falchuk is fine with it and there's been no "rush." Gossip Cop is told on the record by Paltrow's rep that the actress's time in Europe, which includes the opening of the Goop store in London, "been planned a year in advance." Her husband knew about this, too.
In fact, Paltrow and Falchuk honeymooned in Europe precisely because of her work commitments overseas. Her "break from their honeymoon" to promote Goop was not out-of-the-blue. Despite what the blog's anonymous and untraceable "source" says, the actress's spokesperson explains, "That is the way it was scheduled."
The blog's claim that Paltrow is only taking pictures on her honeymoon to boost her business is also absurd. The actress has been known to share her life with her fans and followers, and it just so happens hat her business and lifestyle overlap. It's worth noting, however, that the actress hasn't actually shared all that much from her honeymoon. In fact, one of the few Instagram photos posted by Paltrow was a picture of a sunset in Italy. There's certainly no product being sold in that image.
Meanwhile, RadarOnline is hardly reliable when it comes to the actress's personal life. Gossip Cop busted the blog earlier this year for wrongly speculating that Paltrow had a baby bump. As time has shown, that wasn't the case. This latest article is no more accurate.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
