Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are not having marriage trouble just six months after tying the knot, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the claim. We've learned it's completely false.
An article in the latest issue of the National Enquirer, which was later posted online by RadarOnline, alleges the couple got into a "screaming match" while leaving a Los Angeles restaurant. There's no proof to back up the claim, but a so-called "spy" tells the magazine "it looked like they were at each other's throats." Both the tabloid and blog provide a few photos of the couple outside of the restaurant, but they don't appear to be having a heated exchange in any of the pictures.
As for the reason behind the supposed blowup, an alleged source tells the magazine that Patlrow "can be a lot to handle" and is "used to getting her own way," which irks her husband. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal a few months ago, Paltrow revealed that she and Falchuk still have their own separate houses. According to the tabloid, the TV producer isn't happy with the unconventional arrangement. "Brad thinks her ideas are a little wacky," adds the questionable source, who further contends that Falchuk is more "old-fashioned" than his wife and it's leading to tension between them.
The tabloid's report is based on claims from a seemingly made-up tipster, but Gossip Cop reached out to Paltrow's spokesperson, who tells us on the record it's untrue. Despite what the outlet's anonymous "source" claims, a rep qualified to speak on the actress's behalf confirms her marriage is going strong. This is also evident by the couple's own social media pages.
Last month, Paltrow posted a tribute to her husband on Instagram in honor of his birthday. In addition to calling Falchuk a "gift" to all who know him, the actress also described the producer as her "rock" and her "favorite person." She added, " I am so happy you were born... I love you so much." And this past Valentine's Day, Falchuk gushed about his wife in an Instagram post. It's also worth noting, Paltrow and Falchuk were spotted hiking together in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
Both the Enquirer and RadarOnline have proven to be clueless about the actress's personal life. Last year, Gossip Cop busted the magazine for wrongly reporting that Jennifer Aniston would be the maid of honor at Paltrow's wedding. The "Friends" star didn't even attend the nuptials. We also called out the blog last year for falsely claiming Paltrow was pregnant with Falchuk's baby. As time has proven, the actress isn't expecting. This latest article surrounding (nonexistent) marital drama is more nonsense.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
