Gwyneth Paltrow is not hiding a baby bump because she's not pregnant, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the speculative claim. We're exclusively told it's untrue.

According to RadarOnline, Paltrow is possibly pregnant because she showed up to an "event in big baggy dress." And that's literally all the proof the website has. The blog writes, "Paltrow looks like she's concealing her middle," noting how she came in a "big baggy pink dress to the annual Girlboss Rally in Los Angeles on Saturday." The site adds that following her and Brad Falchuk's recent engagement party, it's possible the actress "could be in a rush to have his kid as she's now 45."

The site clearly didn't bother fact-checking its story. Instead it asked, "Could the actress, who already has two kids by ex-husband Chris Martin, be in the family way again?" It further filled its space by contending that Paltrow "hasn't worn such a figure-concealing dress in a long time" and that she "flaunted her legs instead of her waist in the three-quarter sleeve fuchsia dress." Still, with no evidence whatsoever that Paltrow might be pregnant with Falchuk's baby, the outlet alleges the Oscar winner also "looked like" she had a "belly bump when she recently wore a bikini."

Actually, this is the second time in as many weeks that Gossip Cop has had to debunk an untrue story about Paltrow possibly being pregnant by that website. Earlier in the month, the blog floated that she was expecting after Paltrow posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a bikini during her bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. While the actress looked thin, the outlet questioned whether she had a "slight bump." At the time, Patrow's rep said she was not pregnant and called the blog "shameful," adding that its story was "an example why women get so screwed up with body image."

Now 13 days later, the site is still trying to peddle its false narrative, while no other outlets covering the Girlboss Rally even hinted that Paltrow might be expecting under her pink dress (see above). For instance, the headline of a Daily Mail piece read, "Gwyneth Paltrow is pretty in pink as she shows off gold wedding band at Girlboss Rally." And JustJared similarly wrote, "Gwyneth Paltrow Goes Pretty in Pink for Girlboss Rally."

Still, while RadarOnline spreads conjecture, Gossip Cop investigates. Once again, Paltrow's rep exclusively tells us, "She is not pregnant." The only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the writers at that often disproven site.

Our Verdict

Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
