Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are NOT headed for a split over supposed “trust issues,” despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “false.”

Stefani is soon hitting the road for her This Is What the Truth Feels Like tour, but according to OK!, the couple may not survive their long-distance relationship. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Gwen is worried about the idea of spending so much time apart. She’s afraid it’s going to blow up their romance.”

The magazine’s questionable insider further claims that following the cheating drama surrounding Stefani’s breakup with estranged husband Gavin Rossdale, the singer allegedly “wants to keep an eye on Blake.” The outlet’s “source” says she’s invited him to go on tour with her, but the country star isn’t fond of the idea because he supposedly “doesn’t want to be her sidekick for two months.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively tells us the tabloid’s claim is simply “false.” We’re assured the couple’s relationship is going strong and there aren’t any so-called “trust issues” between them. Of course, we’re not surprised by the publication’s tall tale, since Gossip Cop has repeatedly called out OK! for making up stories about Stefani and Shelton.

In the past few months alone, Gossip Cop has debunked several OK! cover stories that wrongly reported Stefani was either pregnant with Shelton’s baby, or that the two were getting married. Obviously, none of those false stories panned out, and the publication’s latest claim is equally untrue.
