Gwen Stefani is NOT “pregnant with two girls,” despite yet another baby-focused tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the report. She is not pregnant with Blake Shelton’s baby, let alone expecting twins.
Wednesday’s new edition of OK! announces, “Gwen Pregnant With Two Girls.” Inside the magazine, a headline declares, “Twins On The Way!” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “The buzz in their inner circle is that Gwen is four months pregnant, and that they’re expecting twins!”
It’s said that though the couple “began researching fertility doctors and evaluating their options several months ago,” Stefani “conceived naturally.” The source notes, “Blake teared up when he found out” she was pregnant, and later “lost it” when he learned she was “carrying twin girls.”
And, after claiming Stefani is due “sometime around Christmas,” the magazine regurgitates its already-busted claim that she and Shelton “wed in a supersecret ceremony,” and were celebrating their “honeymoon” last month. “It was said to be a small, casual affair, but special nonetheless,” writes the outlet. Except all of this is lies.
The couple isn’t married, and they’re not expecting twins, either. And OK! is far from a credible source on the subject. It was less than a month ago that the tabloid claimed Stefani and Shelton were headed for a split.
And the publication first wrongly alleged Stefani was pregnant with twins in January… and then again in February. Well, here we are in July, and OK! is still making up stories. Asked about the new “two girls” cover story, a rep for the singer exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “It’s untrue.”
