Gwen Stefani is NOT jealous of Gavin Rossdale and Elin Nordegren, despite a silly tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk the story, which tries to make it seem like there's a love triangle.
A headline in the current edition of the National Enquirer reads, "Gavin Clubs Gwen With His New Twosome!" According to the article, "Randy rocker Gavin Rossdale's boasts about linking up with Tiger Woods' ex, Elin Nordegren, have hit the rough with his ex, Gwen Stefani!" A so-called "source" claims to the supermarket tabloid, "This is classic Gavin, sending messages to Gwen that he knows will upset her."
Although Stefani is happily committed to Blake Shelton, the gossip magazine contends she "still holds a torch for Gavin." A purported "insider" asserts, "Gwen privately admits Gavin's the only guy who's really 'gotten' her. She can't shake those feelings, no matter how hard she tries."
That's why the publication claims it "was a slap in the face to Gwen when Gavin bragged in an interview he'd texted Swedish stunner Elin 'a couple of times to say hello,' and called her 'a really great girl." Alleges the supposed source, "That was Gavin's underhanded way of telling Gwen that two can play this dating game. Gwen thought she'd moved on, but this is like a wound that hasn't healed."
But Rossdale and Nordegren are NOT dating. The National Enquirer conveniently didn't include the Bush front man's full quote, in which he confessed, "I've never met her." That's right: The two haven't even met, but the tabloid wants readers to believe there's a love triangle with Stefani.
It's clear, however, that there's nothing for Stefani to be jealous of, nor would she be even if there was. She has happily moved on with Shelton and is successfully co-parenting with Rossdale. That's all that's going on. A rep for the songstress exclusively tells Gossip Cop that this story about her reaction to a Rossdale-Nordegren coupling is "untrue."
It's not a surprise, though, to see the disreputable outlet spinning a false tale. Nearly a year ago, Gossip Cop busted the publication for wrongly claiming Rossdale was moving his sons with Stefani to London.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
