Gwen Stefani was not “dumped by Blake Shelton, despite a new report that’s spinning an old and disproven claim. Gossip Cop can once again exclusively correct this fake news. We’re told it’s “untrue.”

According to a completely inaccurate story that was manufactured by In Touch and is dominating search results, Stefani and Shelton are “no more” a couple. The tabloid maintains that Shelton left Stefani “high and dry” and “dumped her before heading off on tour in February.” Ironically, a seemingly made-up “source” is quoted as telling the magazine that in a “desperate attempt to ignore the truth,” Stefani “continues to send him loving social media support from LA while he’s been out on the road.”

It’s actually the publication that’s ignoring the truth, but we’ll get to that shortly. The same almost assuredly concocted insider alleges, “Blake’s through with Gwen’s neediness and all the drama,” as well as her supposed “jealousy of him and other women.” The tabloid’s questionable tipster then asserts Shelton told Stefani he would “be doing the latter part of the monthlong Country [Music] Freaks Tour without her,” which left the No Doubt singer “upended.” As a result, contends the magazine, they had their worst “argument ever” before “Blake took off without even saying goodbye.”

The article, however, is one giant lie. Far from being “dumped” by the country singer, right as the often discredited outlet published this fake news, Stefani posted on Instagram a photo of herself with Shelton. And contrary to the magazine’s claim that she’s in denial about how he left her “high and dry,” and is still sending Shelton “social media support from LA while he’s been out on the road,” Stefani also shared on Instagram a photo of her with Shelton while actually on the road with him and others at Saturday’s concert at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. She captioned that picture, “#goodtimes @blakeshelton #tour #love.”

Just to recap: The tabloid said Stefani was “dumped” by Shelton and he went off on his “Country [Music] Freaks Tour without her.” To pretend it had inside information, as some outlets tend to do, an unnamed and untraceable “source” was then quoted, in this instance explaining the breakup was a result of Stefani’s supposed “neediness,” “drama,” and “jealousy.” On the other side of the reporting spectrum, Gossip Cop fact-checked the outlet’s story, the way we do every article, and Stefani’s rep told us on the record that the made-up scenario about her being “dumped” is 100 percent “untrue.”

Additionally, Stefani and Shelton’s own actions, words and photos are proof the outlet’s article was entirely fabricated. And yet, unfortunately, if one were to search “Blake Shelton” or “Gwen Stefani,” the top result is the magazine’s verifiably wrong report (below). Sadly, Gossip Cop is not surprised by the falsity of this latest story, which seemingly was designed to dupe readers and search engines. Not only did we bust a slightly different In Touch tale that untruthfully maintained a week ago that Shelton “dumped” Stefani, but we also corrected a similarly phony cover story nearly a year ago.

Curiously, the tabloid makes no mention whatsoever about what’s happening to all of their kids after Shelton left Stefani. Wait, they don’t have any babies? That’s odd, because the same untrustworthy magazine published a number of cover stories over the years swearing up and down that Stefani was pregnant with his children (below). While there are plenty of celebrity outlets finding ways to sell magazines and get traffic through false pretenses and fake news, there’s only one Gossip Cop that’s up 24/7 doing its best to fact-check.
