A story about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's romance being "hotter than ever" is made-up. Gossip Cop can bust the fabrication. This is at least the third time a certain site has manufactured an "exclusive" about the couple getting intimate behind closed doors.
"Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton's Sex Life Is Hotter Than Ever After 3 Years Of Dating," reads the headline of this absurd article from HollywoodLife. The article asserts that "dating for three years hasn't created a dull bedroom" for the couple, and it's actually "quite the contrary." A so-called "source close to Gwen" is quoted as saying, "Gwen clams up when it comes to their marriage plans, but she's much more candid about their amazing sex life." Maintains this unidentifiable snitch, "She can't believe that even after three years together, the spark hasn't faded a bit. Blake still totally rocks her world every single time."
This tale comes roughly seven months after the blog concocted a story about how Stefani and Shelton's Christmas plans would include "sexy time for themselves." The purported "juicy details" from a similarly untraceable "source" were designed to imply the couple would be spending part of the holiday getting down and dirty. Before that, in June of 2017, the website announced Stefani was spending thousands on "sexy new lingerie" for Shelton's birthday. It was even said, according to an anonymous "insider," that she was "planning to totally blow his mind."
In all three of these cases, the outlet has wanted readers to believe that "sources" and "insiders" supposedly "close" to the singers are publicly discussing their, uh, bedroom activities with a gossip site. And in the prior instances Gossip Cop pointed out, as we will again now, that that's preposterous. There's a reason reputable publications haven't run stories like these: No one in the inner circles of celebrities actually spills about their sex lives like this.
But HollywoodLife repeatedly claims to have inside knowledge on such intimate matters, including just a day ago when it tried peddling an "exclusive" on how Angelina Jolie "fears" she'll never "replace" Brad Pitt in the bedroom as he was responsible for "the best sex she's ever had." Part of what makes these stories so ridiculous is that Jolie and Stefani both have children that are at the age where they can use the internet. And their parents are cool with those "close" to them sharing information about their sex lives it can published on the web?
To call these narratives far-fetched would be an understatement. And it's telling that they're never corroborated. It appears the blog is just desperate to exploit top stars with salacious storylines. It's incredibly gross, and definitely not journalism.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
