A new story about what Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will wish for at their wedding when they get married is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can expose this fabrication that involves Kelly Clarkson. It's nothing more than speculation from a site that has a long history of concocting phony articles about Stefani and Shelton.
As Gossip Cop has noted before, there's a reason HollywoodLife is often referred to as HollywoodLies, and it's precisely because of reports like the current one that maintains it knows who they want to perform at their wedding. In an effort to lend credence to its manufactured article, the blog quotes a "source," albeit unnamed and untraceable, who supposedly asserts "they'd like Kelly Clarkson to sing" at their nuptials. And while the often discredited outlet alleges it knows Clarkson is on their wishlist to provide entertainment at the wedding — a fair guess since she's a friend of both Stefani and Shelton — the site acknowledges it has absolutely no information whatsoever about an "engagement or time for the two to get married."
To recap: HollywoodLies doesn't know when they'll get engaged or married, but knows they want Clarkson to sing at the non-scheduled nuptials. One can already envision the site making up more wedding articles about them wanting a multitiered cake, their "favorite" foods served, lots of dancing, and their friends and family in attendance. Basically, it's just reasonable speculation and not legitimate reporting. It should be noted, Stefani's rep has gone on the record on several occasions with Gossip Cop to tell us that site regularly manufactures stories and rarely fact-checks its tall tales.
In just the past year and a half, Gossip Cop has exposed HollywoodLife for concocting an absurd number of provably untrue stories about Stefani and Shelton splitting up, having a baby, getting engaged, and eloping, among other fake scenarios. In March 2017, the outlet fabricated a report about Stefani adopting a baby girl and not telling Shelton. The following month, we nailed the blog for falsely contending Shelton and Stefani had split up and claiming to know why "she dumped him."
Two months later, the frequently wrong outlet asserted Stefani was pregnant with twins and seeking advice from Beyonce about having two babies. In October 2017, Gossip Cop busted HollywoodLies when it squealed that Stefani and Shelton were engaged after she "showed off a huge diamond ring." And then nearly one full year ago, the site fibbed again when it claimed Shelton and Stefani were eloping.
Each and every one of those articles were lies. Over the past year as well, the blog again falsely maintained the country star was proposing on Valentine's Day, the No Doubt singer was pregnant, and Stefani and Shelton were getting married last summer. In all those stories, the website swore up and down it had a close "source," while Gossip Cop had on-the-record comments from reps. Much like all those bogus reports, the latest one about the outlet knowing Stefani and Shelton are already wishing for Clarkson to sing at their wedding is also entirely made-up.
Gossip Cop has determined this story is totally false.
