Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not on the hunt for a multi-million dollar home “where they’ll exchange vows,” despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop recently debunked a similar version of this story. We can once again set the record straight, thanks to Stefani’s rep who assures us the claim is untrue.

According to RadarOnline, the famous couple has been touring $10 million mansions in Hidden Hills, California. An alleged insider tells the blog, “They’ve been looking for the perfect love nest, one with a large, lavish garden where they can exchange vows before all of their friends and family.”

The questionable source further contends that Stefani and Shelton “act like teenagers in love” while checking out the estates and have “even been caught kissing while previewing homes and strolling down the manicured streets.” From there, the supposed tipster goes on to say what the two like about Hidden Hills, noting that they enjoy “the whole country feel of the area,” and adding, “It’s a place where they could keep his and hers horses and go for romantic rides at sunset.”

This article, however, is nothing more than a rewrite of a phony story by the site’s sister publication, Star, which asserted last week that Stefani and Shelton were “getting frisky” in homes they’re looking to buy. That report also maintained the pair would “make out” in the master suites of homes they were touring to make sure the bedrooms had “the right vibe.”

The blog, however, adds a new angle about the music stars planning to hold their wedding at the new house. Regardless, both of these tales are based on claims from anonymous and untraceable “sources.” Meanwhile, Stefani’s spokesperson already told Gossip Cop on the record that she and Shelton aren’t looking for homes together. The singer’s rep, speaking on her behalf, assured us as week that the premise was simply “not true.”

Not surprisingly, the bogus story was picked up and rewritten by the ironically named site, Celebrity Insider, which didn’t even bother to fact-check the claims. It did what it always does: It just changed around a few words here and there. Of course, its article was also 100 percent false.

It’s worth noting, RadarOnline has already proven to have little insight into the couple’s romance and plans for the future. Earlier this year, Gossip Cop busted the blog for wrongly reporting that Shelton and Stefani were “quitting Hollywood” and moving to Oklahoma. That obviously never happened. This latest article also fails to mention what happened to those supposed plans.

And last year, Gossip Cop called out the website for absurdly claiming that Shelton and Stefani were faking their relationship for “The Voice.” Stefani is no longer a judge on the music competition show and the couple is still happily together. These ongoing narratives about the pair are pure fiction.
